Steel wool is a very versatile material and can be used for a variety of household, re-modeling, furniture finishining and construction tasks. Use steel wool for cleaning, polishing, buffing and refinishing. It’s the ideal choice for do-it-yourselfers and professional contractors for clean-up, smoothing and polishing. Coarser grades (No. 1, 2, 3) are generally used for cleanup and removal of surface material. Finer grades (No. 1/0, 2/0, 3/0, 4/0) are for rubbing down finishes.
